The Human Dignity Programme of HELP Foundation Africa is dedicated to building a society founded on freedom, justice, equality, and peace for present and future generations. Guided by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we promote the respect, protection, and realization of economic, social, cultural, civil, and political rights for all. Our work advances the rights of women, children, and persons with disabilities while advocating for inclusive policies, legislative reforms, and equal opportunities that uphold the dignity of every individual.
We promote human rights and social inclusion by addressing discrimination, violence, exploitation, and inequality. Our interventions strengthen women’s leadership and economic participation, support children’s access to quality education, and combat child labour, child trafficking, child marriage, and all forms of abuse. We also champion the rights of persons with disabilities through advocacy for inclusive education, accessible infrastructure, decent employment, and meaningful participation in community and national development, working in partnership with government, civil society, traditional authorities, and local communities.
Recognizing that economic empowerment is essential to human dignity, we support women, youth, persons with disabilities, farmers, fishers, artisans, and other vulnerable groups to build sustainable livelihoods and resilient communities. Through entrepreneurship development, vocational and skills training, financial inclusion, value chain development, climate-resilient livelihoods, and advocacy for inclusive economic policies, we enable individuals and communities to improve their incomes, achieve self-reliance, and contribute to sustainable and inclusive development where no one is left behind.
